ARNE NÆSS

Arne Næss was born in 1912 and he made up the word deep ecology. When he was young, his favourite interest was philosophy and mountaneering. Arne Næss was only 27 years old when he became a professor in philosophy at "Universitetet i Oslo". Alot of norwegian students have read Arne Næss's textbooks about logical thinking in the philosophical history. In 1970 he ended his career at "Universitetet i Oslo". He wanted more time to work with deep ecology and he wanted to join auctions to protect the nature.

One of the things Arne Næss said was "Every living thing has as much right to express themselves", what means that everything that lives have the same rights as we, the humans do.
